The Burrito method
What the heck is that! It is a technique for making scrunchies and other
things.
Your project will have been sewn into a circle at this point so we will start
from there. I will use a scrunchie as an example for this method.
With the seam side on the bottom & right side up, lay the other side on
top and tuck into the center longwise.
Bring the bottom side with the seam up and surround the tucked in side, enclosing
it.
Add a pin or clip if needed, and bring to the machine, starting to sew near the
seam. Sew the outer side carefully, keeping the inner side tucked in and away
from the machine needle.
Sew all around pulling the inner side toward you as you go, stopping when you
need to in order to adjust. When you come to the starting point, I like to leave a little "tail" of the
inner side hanging out. I sew up as far as I can before stopping and back stitching to
finish.
Trim thread tails, then pull your "tail" out to the right side.
